He wanted to be an engineer for cameras so he majored in optical engineering at the university. While attending school he became more interested in the shooting process of photography. After graduating he started to work for a photostudio. In October of 1993 he left the commercial studio he was working for to start the photo-office "Rio Grande" which deals mainly in outdoor photography. After swapping studio work for the great outdoors field work, he is working to bring real nature closer. In recent years he has traveled across the Pacific ocean numerous times to work in the deserts of the United States and with the people who live there. During these trips he has exhibitioned his works about the deserts and Native Americans in exhibitions, corporate posters, calenders and PR magazines. The outdoors is the studio for him and he tries to give the viewers an emotionally moving experience.
